The figure is depicting an Orientalist warrior in a spirited running pose, intricately detailed, wearing a multi-coloured striped turban with a red sash, a dark blue bolero jacket, a wide red and green waist sash, and white billowy shorts. The warrior holds a long-barrelled flintlock rifle and has a small pouch slung across his chest. The sculpture is mounted on a naturalistic grey stone base shaped to resemble a rugged, rocky outcrop. The piece bears a model number 5301 on the reverse of the left leg, accompanied by the signature B within an amphora mark.
